Mastergrade Blackwood Violin Back and Side Set suitable for 4/4 size.
Unique, sustainably sourced Australian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) from the Otway Ranges in Victoria. This back and side set has been selected from the same log, ensuring consistency in colour and timber properties. The timber is processed to ensure the grain is as straight as possible to minimise long-grain runout and increase stability, strength and acoustic qualities.

Will cut at least 4 pieces at 50mm x 3mm (1 x 500, 1 x 400, 2 x 140). Side piece is well oversized.

This timber has been air dried indoors to reach 8% EMC. Product is shipped at 8-9% EMC. Timber was sawn in 2018.
